The Trustee Candidate Advisory Council is composed of 24 public members appointed to six-year, staggered terms, one-half by the Speaker of the House, and one-half appointed by the Senate Subcommittee on Committees of the Committee on Rules and Administration. Reference to the council can be found in Minnesota Statute 136F.03.
